Stewart Hood serves as Vice President of Research and Systems for MuniStrategies and focuses on business strategy, NMTC compliance, community development research, internal operations, and project underwriting and analysis.
Hood has a background in entrepreneurship and new venture finance, founding three startups and receiving a Master of Business Administration (with a focus in entrepreneurship) from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Hood also attended the University of Mississippi where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and a Taylor Medalist for the School of Liberal Arts. Hood also serves as Mississippi Chair and National Finance Chair on the national board for Republic Charter Schools, a CMO that currently operates four charter schools in Nashville and one charter in Mississippi.
