Stewart Hood serves as CEO of MuniStrategies.

Stewart Hood serves as CEO of MuniStrategies. Mr. Hood has a 11-yar track record in managing public-private community development funds, including serving as a Vice President of MuniStrategies. Outside of New Market Tax Credits, Mr. Hood has managed Qualified Opportunity Funds (fund manager of 3 QOFs, including HOPE Credit Union's QOF) and SBIC Funds (principal-manager of 2 small business funds).  Additionally, Mr. Hood is a co-founder of Culleywood Capital, a Community Development Financial Institution loan fund serving the affordable housing and small business needs of The Greater Mississippi Delta. He is a resident of Jackson, Mississippi, and received his MBA from Babson College and his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi.

John Harrison York serves as CFO of MuniStrategies.

John Harrison York serves as CFO of MuniStrategies. Mr. York’s background is in strategy, finance, and operations, having previously worked in Deloitte’s New York office and served as the executive director of a charter school in Harlem. Additionally, Mr. York has worked in the public-private financial sector since 2019, initially for Enhanced Capital before joining Culleywood Capital, a Community Development Financial Institution loan fund serving the affordable housing and small business needs of The Greater Mississippi Delta. He is a resident of Jackson, Mississippi, and received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

Meg Douglass, VP of Finance and Compliance

Meg Douglass, VP of Finance and Compliance

Meg Douglass serves as Vice President of Finance and Compliance for MuniStrategies.

Meg Douglass serves as Vice President of Finance and Compliance for MuniStrategies and leads the company's efforts on all federal and state tax credit compliance issues. Douglass has a long background of tax credit compliance and financial regulatory work.  Her most recent work was as a Vice President and Tax Credit Analyst for First NBC where she oversaw compliance for dozens of NMTC, HTC and LIHTC investments.  Prior to her work in regulated financial institutions, she worked as a Compliance Examiner with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) where she conducted examinations of FINRA member firms and evaluated compliance procedures and internal controls.  She is a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, and received her MBA from Tulane University and her undergraduate business degree from the University of Alabama.
