Stewart Hood serves as CEO of MuniStrategies. Mr. Hood has a 11-yar track record in managing public-private community development funds, including serving as a Vice President of MuniStrategies. Outside of New Market Tax Credits, Mr. Hood has managed Qualified Opportunity Funds (fund manager of 3 QOFs, including HOPE Credit Union’s QOF) and SBIC Funds (principal-manager of 2 small business funds). Additionally, Mr. Hood is a co-founder of Culleywood Capital, a Community Development Financial Institution loan fund serving the affordable housing and small business needs of The Greater Mississippi Delta. He is a resident of Jackson, Mississippi, and received his MBA from Babson College and his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi.
